Introduction:

RAP15-4 is an Internet server that receives IP messages from Internet clients for transmitting Contact-ID digital alarm messages over telephone lines. Receiving IP messages includes types of alarms, zone, partition, and alarm central customer number. The IP alarm message is either DC09 type or custom messages or both types. After receiving IP messages, a standard Contact-ID message is constructed by RAP15-4. Then RAP15-4 dials a pre-programmed telephone number for an alarm central station over public telephone line and sends the built-Contact-ID message. If it is successful, it transmits the kiss-off tone. RAP15-4 has receiving buffers so that multiple messages maty be transmitted to the alarm central station in single telephone call.

Specifications:

Receiving IP messages:

1.     DC09 type message. example: "ADM-CID"0001R1L100#1234[#1234|1140 00 007]_22:49:34,01-22-2012<CRC>

Encryption: AES 128, 192, or 256 bit-key.

The messages with or without AES encryption are received by RAP15-4 automatically. The encryption keys and the number of bit are programmable by provided programming software.

2.     Custom message: same as Contact-ID message in ASCII format-(account number) 18 (1 for new, 3 for restore) (3-digit event code) (2-digit partition) (3-digit zone) <CR>, where <CR> is hex0d.
Example: 345618111012345<CR>

Size of IP message buffer: 159 messages maximum

Standards:
